Hoymiles HIM5000MV PCS-MV Station

The Hoymiles HIM5000MV PCS-MV Station is an integrated power conversion and medium-voltage solution designed for large-scale and utility-scale energy storage applications. It integrates PCS, transformer, BCP, BSP, fire-fighting and auxiliary systems, with unified equipment-level management through an EMU or local controller. The system is designed to work with 5MWh battery containers using 314Ah or 320Ah cells and supports a DC voltage range of 1000–1500V. The HIM5000MV provides 5000kVA rated capacity and up to 5500kVA maximum capacity, with a rated AC voltage of 690V and support for 10kV or 35kV grid connection. Its ANPC three-level topology and intelligent liquid cooling enable PCS peak efficiency above 99% and full-power operation at ambient temperatures up to 45°C. The system supports primary frequency regulation, rapid voltage adjustment, L/HVRT, weak-grid operation and integrated black-start functionality. It supports grid-connected, off-grid and hybrid operating modes as well as VSG control, making it suitable for utility-scale BESS, renewable energy integration and grid-support applications.
